These tanks are used for convection heating of water from a boiler with an internal spiral. One fitting of the tank is connected to one output of the boiler spiral, the other through a tee to the other output of the boiler spiral and the drain valve.
The water in the tank is heated by natural convection, but the process can be accelerated if a circulation pump is installed in the system.

Despite the fact that heating water in such a system is somewhat inferior in speed to direct heating of water in a tank standing directly on the boiler, this system has an undeniable advantage - durability. With this system, tanks never burn out
and retain their appearance for many years. This system usually uses two tanks for cold and hot water, which can be combined with one mixer.
